SECURITY
Delivering new technology to the market
Security is an integral part of every IT strategy. In most organisations, the nature of some information held dictates that the highest level of security is required to ensure some information is only accessible by fully authorised and authenticated personnel.
There is a fine line between effective security and making information easily available to those who need it. When building an IT security strategy, our first step is to write a security policy to address the risks, threats, data, access and physical security of buildings and equipment.
Everyone in the organisation is responsible for security and regular communications with simple security updates are a good way to highlight this. Many believe the biggest threats to security come from outside the organisation, but in fact it has been proven many times that the greatest threats come from within. Simple procedures like getting people to memorise passwords which aren’t obvious, instead of writing them down and asking them to question why someone else needs their password.
We have a number of solutions to help protect every area of the organisation and make the management of the physical security of buildings more centralised and effective.
The following are just some of the security solutions we can provide:
- Authentication and ID Management
- Content management
- Door access solutions
- Email and web filtering
- Antivirus
- Intrusion detection
- Penetration testing
- VPN and Remote Access
- Wireless
- Surveillance
Using some or all of these technologies, we can design a full security solution to control access, minimise risks and protect the organisation.
